For those looking for tranquility and utter peace away from the masses of Tourists while a little further south, passing the picturesque cove Agrapidia, (Antipaxos tiny harbour) you will find many choices of small beaches and coves like Agni beach, Skidi beach, Ovoros beach on the east side of Antipaxos these beaches offering shelter from the breeze picks up after midday. Cape Ovoros (Antipaxos Lighthouse) at the southernmost tip of Antipaxos overlooking the tiny islets named Daskalia.

Sarakiniko beach, Kaloiri beach and Rodovani beach (Known as Emerald Bay) formed on the west side of the island facing the deep blue sea.

Important Notice: Crossing over to Antipaxos east side it’s easy even for the most novice boat handlers, usually takes 5 to 10 minutes to cross the gap between Paxos and Antipaxos and should be done early mornings.

Access to the west coast beaches is not suggested for novice boat handlers and it’s prohibited even for the most experienced boat handlers after midday due to the weather conditions.

Preferably coming back from Antipaxos should be done early afternoon.
